Response dated 9 January 2025 (ref 13672656) to Q3 'For each financial year 2019-2024 how many SEND tribunal appeals (for children/young people under 25 years old) were registered against the Borough?': 2019: 101; 2020: 97; 2021: 100; 2022: 143; 2023: 148; 2024: 131 (these sum to 720, matching the council's own cost-estimate note). Q4 (cases defended) answered by cross-reference only: 'Please refer to the response for question three.' Q7 (external legal support engaged in 2019-2024): 'Yes' -- but costs by year withheld (see caveats).
